Rob Headley / Managing Partner

Rob was raised in Norristown, PA, and graduated from VA Tech

Rob is an accomplished and innovative Senior Corporate Executive with over 30 years in leadership roles across Fortune 100 companies in the U.S. Rob held North America senior vice president positions with Computer Associates, Cognos, and IBM. As the CRO for Motus LLC in Boston, Rob successfully grew revenues, culminating in an equity acquisition by Thoma Bravo in 2019, allowing Rob to retire and focus on entrepreneurial ventures in the golfing industry. His track record of leadership success, cultivating talent, and driving an organization's top-line revenues is well documented. Rob and his wife Lisa live in Nantasket Beach, Hull, and are members of Black Rock Country Club.

Douglas Karo / Founding Partner

Doug was born and raised in Abington, MA, where he played 4 yrs of varsity hockey and golf in high school. Although he excelled at both, he was passionate about golf. After high school, Doug attended Mass Maritime Academy and graduated with a degree in Marine Transportation and an Unlimited 3rd mate’s license from the US Coast Guard. 

From 1992-97, Doug decided to play golf full-time and dedicate 5 years to earning his tour card. He played on many mini-tours, state opens, and his favorite tournament, the Bermuda Open.

Doug owns and operates Oceanside Builders Inc, which he established in 1998. With a twenty-three-year successful entrepreneurial career, Doug brings the fortitude and expertise to manage startup businesses through the hurdles and unexpected challenges. Doug lives in Hingham with his wife, Kara, and their two children.

Jayson Goldstein / General Manager

We are pleased to announce the hiring of Jayson Goldstein as General Manager of The Cove Club. A Hingham resident, Jayson brings an extensive resume in hospitality and food & beverage to the Cove Club, having worked with several of the nation’s most distinguished brands.

Most recently, he served as Food and Beverage Director at the Four Seasons Hotel, Boston. Before that, he held a senior leadership role with Levy Restaurants in Boston, where he served as General Manager at the Hynes Convention Center. Over the course of his career, Jayson has held prominent hospitality positions in both New York City and Boston, including roles at the Loews Regency New York and The London NYC. He relocated to Hingham in 2019 with his wife, Christina, and their children, Izzy and Zoe.
